Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum mop is a great alternative for those who live in flats, since it is able to carry the garbage away in its own bin, and also uses a smaller docking station. Its app lets you set up different modes and monitor cleaning. The mopping feature is also impressive.
Its obstacle avoidance and mapping are impressive, and it mops very well cleaning up pet hair, spillages, and dirt. It also self-empties itself and self-cleans and refills its water tank.
Roomba iRobot Combination
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It scrubs more, and has a mobile app that is simpler to use but it's an excellent alternative. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all sizes and types from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance may not be as advanced as other systems like LiDAR and structured light, but it can prevent collisions in the majority of cases.
The Combo comes with many of the same smarts that the j7 Plus does, including the onboard acoustic sensor that can determine the type of floor and AI-powered Navigation, however it's not able to control suction power using a hand. It's also slightly less compact than the vac-only model, and doesn't come with a self-emptying dock.
In my experience I have found that the Combo is a great choice for most homes, and its sleek design is one of the best in the market. The sleek matte black plastic looks better than most competitors' metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little features--like a leather tab that can open the bin on the board and a shelf within the dock to hold extra bags--are classier than the majority of its competitors'. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, and to set up Keep-Out Zones and No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.
Roborock
Roborock, a relatively recent player in the robotic vacuum and mop industry has already established itself by offering innovative cleaning technology. The vacuums are renowned for their suction power, and the mopping systems of the brand come with vibrating mops that can scrub floors clean. Additionally, a variety of mapping and scheduling options allow you to fine-tune the schedule of cleaning for your home's specific needs.
Another outstanding Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to detect objects smaller than its height. This is particularly useful for the most well-known Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is top of its class in terms of navigation courtesy of both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to slam into furniture and slam into pet faeces, without even noticing however the Qrevo Master solves this issue with Reactive AI, which uses twin cameras to perceive the presence of objects in a room.
Roborock robots also come with a number of convenience features that make it easier to manage day-to-day maintenance. These include docks that can automatically empty themselves and multi-functional mop washing stations. They make it easier to empty the dustbins manually and wash mops, making for an experience that is completely hands-free. Plus the app's minimalist design and lag-free connection to the robot make it simple to use.
Hobot Legee D8
Hobot Legee, with its wide variety of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping features, is one of the best robot vacuums/mops available for both wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates five different technologies to plan and follow a path that is most efficient. It can also identify different flooring materials and recognise obstacles with precision. It can raise its body up to 7mm in order to glide over carpets. The smart spray system uses the proper amount of water to get rid of the stains, without leaving ugly water marks.
The Legee is a Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both of them cost more. It has more features that include a swivel D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more efficiently than the round version. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass) four forward-facing sensors, 1 right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and two pairs of cliff detectors, front and rear (most robots only have one pair). The robot also has Legee SLAM, which minimizes the bump and grind issues that are a problem for Gen 4 Robots.

The Legee is distinct from other robots in that it comes with a trash compactor and uses the more quiet 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The LuLu mop wash station is included and washes, refills and dry your mop's 'cloth. This means you can use it up to six times longer than other mop cloths. It also reduces waste and the frequency at which bins are emptied.
Karcher RCV 5
Known for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for quite a time and this is their most advanced model. It can create maps for your home with LiDAR, and can be programmed either to mop or vacuum. It also can tell the distinction between hard floors and carpets to ensure that you don't get the dreaded pile of puddles.
Its navigation is flawless, avoiding furniture or rugs easily. It can even raise itself over steps. The robot can be customised with a variety of settings including cleaning schedules and the rooms it is required to be cleaning. It also has an emergency button that will make the robot return to the base in the event that it is unable to supply power and it can also be set to automatically turn itself off when the weather is forecast to be stormy.
The RCV 5 is very easy to use and, despite being heavy at almost 4kg, you won't have any difficulty moving it around furniture. Parents of small children will appreciate the safety features like sensors that warn it to stay clear of steps. After being charged, the device takes only about a couple of hours to charge and the two buttons at the top will blink in green to signal that it is ready to use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner balances advanced technology with a low price. It's a rival to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's bestseller Q Revo. Despite its less expensive price it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that many more expensive models can't compete with. It utilizes sensors to adjust its settings to different floors and surfaces, as well as detect areas that are less clean and ensure they receive enough attention. It can also move more slowly to avoid damaging furniture or walls.
You can also see the map of your home in the app. You can also mark specific rooms and objects you would like the vacuum to avoid. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstacle and prevent itself from hitting it. It is also equipped with smart dustbins that notify you when it's full, so you can empty it before you need to.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective solution for those looking to delegate their cleaning chores. It has dual functionality as a robot vacuum and mop which allows you to keep your floors spotless without having to lift a finger. It also has a smart design that increases the efficiency of cleaning corners by as much as 60%. robot vacuums cheap comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, and can be controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 an elegant, feature-packed vacuum and mop. It does a great job of keeping floors tidy and clean. It's not able to lift its mop to clean carpets and rug as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, however, it is extremely effective in cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a superior level of suction, an array of mopping options, and a top-quality app that runs on iOS and Android.
It's smaller than the other models, and its main brush is a bit shorter but it was able to do to do a good job in our test room. The edge brush that revolves on the side is a great addition. While it didn't remove dirt as effectively as other competitors, it did a good job.
The robot can be programmed with specific cleaning parameters for each room. It will then create detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation. It's easy to control via the app, and a range of voice output options will keep you informed of the state of your home robot. Regular software updates help improve and enhance the performance. The app can be used to remotely manage the RCV3 even when you are not at home.
